in which i fight off an evil sunburn

so now that i'm back from my two week vacation thing to visit a family friend and i have more reliable internet i felt like posting something.

i'll try not to make this too long because i have two hyper little girls playing in my room right now.

so during the two weeks, i did a lot.

i went to six flags great america. i won a dragon. we named him josh.

for those of you i have on facebook, there's a picture of me and josh in the tagged pics of me.

sadly i left him at my friends house.

now i have to wait till january to get it back.

sadly, i didnt get my game back either. she couldnt find it.
she better have it in january too.

i know most of you have no idea what i just said.

i also went to a rennaissance fair. it was really fun.

i bought a marshmellow catapult. i was gonna keep it, but decided that my brother would enjoy it more.

i'm trying to secretly give him as many things to remember me by as i can. shh...

i know he doesnt read this, so i can tell you guys that. [:

i also got something else at six flags that im going to give to him, but im keeping that a secret. just in case he actually does read this, this is the one thing i dont want him to know about yet.

then i went to a regular fair and made some pretty good friends. [:

then i came home.
i was going to write a post yesterday, but i didn't and here's why.

yesterday at midnight we left my friends house. then came a five hour drive where i got the smaller half of the backseat even though im a lot taller than my friend. so i didnt sleep very well.

then we got to the house of the family friend that me and my friend met through. i slept there for two hours.

my parents picked me up after those two hours.

we drove about 30-45 minutes home. i took a shower and then we left again.

on a 90 minute drive to this lake.
we spent all day there.
then we drove the 90 minutes home.

then i had to get a ton of sand out of my hair.
i was going to wait for my brother to get home so we could play video games, but i passed out.

and that was my day.
now a few days ago i was sunburned, but it went away.

or so i thought.

it came back yesterday morning in the form of peeling shoulders. i was annoyed that it came back..

and then at the lake i got even more sunburned.

so now, im suiting up for battle against the sunburn by putting on a ton of aloe vera.

the blue kind. with the numbing stuffs. [:

anyway.

how where the past two weeks for you, my beloved blogfollowers?

question of the day: why on earth are little kids so hyper when there is nothing to do?

ohgod they are playing jenga now.
ibetter go before they s\destroy my room like they almost did with the beach volleyball.

peace,love,andgummybears.

  1. Yay, that sounds like a fun trip Maria! :) Glad you had fun.
Yes, small children are ALWAYS hyper. There are only two things you can do to attempt to cure this: stop feeding them any sort of processed or sweetened foods, or give them really really good books (or put on a good movie). Those things only work half the time.

    that's nice to know.

i'll make sure not to step in front of any out of control vehicles. or catch any terminal diseases.
