cutting the grass does pay off sometimes

for those of you that don't know, i finally caved and read the harry potter series.

for those of you who don't know, i fell in love with the series.

i've seen all the movies and i went and spent a lot of my first paycheck buying the series.

i've seen all the movies and am making plans to have a day where me and two of my friends are going to watch all six movies right before 7 part 1 comes out.

i've reread the series many times.

i'm a major fan.

and i own the whole series, in paperback.

keep that in mind.

so i went to cut the grass of this person yesterday.

me and my dad cut his grass and he pays us.

it's every two weeks and pays well, so i stay on top of it.

for those of you that dont know, i have an old fashioned lawn mower. not electric. not gas. but human powered. i have to run full speed at the grass to attempt to cut it.

it's exhausting.

so we were cutting the grass and i was there panting while my dad finished up.
the guy next door was taking some things out to throw away that he didnt want anymore and said we were free to take any.

my dad grabbed a few framed posters but i didnt see anything i would really like.

finally, we finished up and i went to put everything away.

i was sitting in the car waiting and see my dad talking to the guy.

in my head i'm like oh god we'll be here all week.

finally he comes over, carrying an armful of stuff.

it turns out the guy was throwing out most of the harry potter books, hardback.

so my dad grabs them for me.

he had a 1-5 boxed set and 7 on top.

i was disappointed that it wasnt a full set and we started looking around to amke sure we had all our things before going home.

we were about to leave when i decided to go check one more time.

i saw one of the posters my dad had set aside and grabbed it to take to the car.

the guy then came out and handed me 6.

so now i have two complete sets of harry potter, one hardback and one paperback.

just for those days when you need slightly heavier books.

anyway.

school's started back up.

ugh.

my alarm went off three times this morning, none at the time i set it.

now, i should probably go and be productive.

peace,love,andgummybears.
