this post has nothing to do with the title.
or it might.
i'll see how my mood goes while i write it.
now, don't worry, we will get back to the tour of maria-land, since you guys so loved it there last time.
but let's just talk right now.
hi!
how is everything?
i'm prettty good over here.
this is my last week of work for my summer job.
i'm kinda bummed about that, as i really liked it.
then i'm most likely going out of town for about two weeks.
it's not positive yet though.
then i'm back for a few days.
go to a training thing at school.
then miss the first two days of school.
then life as usual.
today let's talk about words.
words can mean so much.
words can feed you.
i often feel starved for words, especially if i go a long time without reading.
i can also feel like that if i go too long without writing.
words are one of the few ways i have left to express myself.
more specifically, written words.
lately though, i've barely written anything.
even the stuff i put on here feels like i'm not putting any efforts into it, which makes it feel wrong.
so i've made a pledge to myself.
i'm going to go back to writing.
for good or bad.
i'll try to keep you guys updated and maybe even post some more on the story (i will i will. just messing with y'all. just not today)
i wanna hear your thoughts about this.
also:
more food for thought.
i was talking to people i work with the other day. and we were discussing when our parents started letting us stay home alone. then one of them asked a question that i could not answer. i've been thinking about it since.
and now i ask you.
first the easy one: at what age did you start staying home alone?
then, the harder one: when did your parents start letting you talk to strangers?
i'll be thinking about mine as i wait for all of your answers. [:
peace,love,andgummybears.
1- around 12
ReplyDelete2- last year
strangers to me, or strangers to my parents? probably the day they sent me to first grade :D
ReplyDeletestrangers? sadly, you have to deal with them all the time. too many people out there; impossible to ignore them all. :D
ReplyDelete1) when I started school, I no longer needed a babysitter. And when I was a freshman, my dad worked in another state and my mom worked nights. I only saw them on weekends. So I lived on my own with my sister for a year and a half
ReplyDelete2) when I was 13 I joined OAFC. part of what we do is go door to door talking to strangers. So I have beeen talking to strangers for at least that long. also, at that time, my sister was 12 and doing the same thing.
haha, sorry that this is so off topic but would you please follow my blog? thank you!!
