i’m actually ahead of you guys on the story. this never happens. i usually write the new part right before i post it. O.o

anyway. riddle. i told you guys i would forget.

since i’m tired of waiting in vain for all of you to answer, i shall give you guys the answer.
the riddle is:
it's open when it's closed.
it's closed when it's open


now for the answer.

*drumroll*
it’s a drawbridge!

*cue you guys looking at each other like omg i should have known that*

*stands awkwardly as everyone doesn’t look around and stares at me instead*

don’t worry, it took me a while too.

now, before i continue to the new part of the story, i should tell you guys a few changes i made.

i decided that i’m never going to refer to my character as maria. so everywhere that her name was mentioned before by a character, i switched it to maruna. the only exception is that part where Hannah uses our “21st century names” where she calls me Minnie. i am considering changing that whole section and taking out those names, but undecided. tell me what you think in the comments.


a few more changes will be made, but i’m still deciding which changes i actually wanna make and which would help the story.

i’m doing something tonight, but i’m not going to tell you guys what it is until i see how it turns out. last time i got my hopes up and i told everyone, but it didn’t work out.
