so i have finally started forcing myself to do homework before reading harry potter.
yay!
so i didn't get a call back.
i'm not as disappointed as i was, since i got an awesome pep talk from one of the awesomest people.
topic of the day:
why is grass so itchy?
ok, i mean, bugs aside, grass is itchy. if you lay down in the grass, even if there aren't any bugs (which is pretty rare tbh) you will get up all itchy.
and you have no bites.
so it must be reasoned that grass is itchy.
the question is why.
if anyone has any answers, feel free to write a long explanation proving why i'm very stupid that i didn't know this already. (yes sky, that means you can too.)

well, for those of you that forgot, here's the riddle:

ReplyDeleteWell, it's because your eyes are broken, and what you percieve as grass is really in all actuallity some form of a poisonous plant, such as poison oak or poison ivy, disguised as grass. When you lie down in what your brain thinks is grass, you get itchy because what you are really lying down in is a field of itch-inducing poisonous plants. The best remedy for this is to go jump in a lake. It will wash the poison stuff off, or, if you're drowning, you will have bigger problems than the itch to worry about. This way, your brain will shift all its mental energy to keeping you alive instead of focusing on the itch, and therefore you will not feel itchy.
Alternatively, it could just be the pollen or something in the grass causing a mild allergic reaction I suppose.
