hi!
it's early.
AND i woke up all by myself!
which is good, because next week i'll have to get up early.
next tuesday i start my job. [:
i'm excited.
the first two weeks are learning the information that we tell others on the tour.
then is giving tours.
next monday i'm celebrating my friend's birthday. i won' t tell you what i'm doing, as she reads this and it's a surprise (she knows about it, just not what we are doing) but i'm excited.
the only problem is that her boyfriend is coming and they want me to find a boy to come so i'm not third wheel. but i have had no life due to dance, which is now fixed (i'll explain later), and i know very few boys irl. and the only ones i would even consider are out of town or seem to get depressedish whenever we hang out. i have no idea what that means. any guys out there interpret that?
or maybe i should be asking if any guys want to travel to my city and help me be not third wheel.
anyway...
i'm getting my braces off soon! and i just got contacts. [:
i am losing some of my outer nerdiness. darn.
it's been decided, by other forces, that i won't be dancing anymore. im sad that i'm losing dance for a while, but we can always find another studio after i have a try at a life.
this saturday is my city's race for the cure. i'm so excited. i love going. it's such a great feeling.
i like going because i know a ton of people who had/have breast cancer because of my mom's support group of hispanic survivors. so that should tell you that my mom is one of those survivors.
and now i'm out of things to say.
which is good because my mom just called my to give me a really stupid job. i have to go sort the tupperware now. *dies*
i'll try to work on the story tonight, so i can post some tomorrow.
i am determined to post every day to help get my blogging skills back.
peace, love, and gummybears,
the girl who still ikes dancing in the middle of the street for no reason
what's your job?
ReplyDeleteis it relay for life on saturday? I go to mine every year. I get my hair cut for locks of love. my mom is a cancer survivor.
I'm working at the art museum as a tour guide!
ReplyDeleteNo, it's actually race for the cure. By he Susan g. Komen center.
I cut my hair too (:
I'll tell you right now that no matter how hard you listen during the training thing, there will still be visitors who ask dumb questions and questions you don't know the answer to...developing people skills is probably more important than knowing the info...though of course knowing the info is good too.
ReplyDeletewhat's a third wheel?
